I'm almost done with my first semester at Austin College. Really - almost done. I have my last final in 9 hours, then I leave on Wednesday morning when my mom can help me move out. Freshman year was the bomb. Made some cool friends. Met a guy named Lukas. Had some fun. Yeah, liking college life. Sophomore year should be a blast!

While I'm super excited to go home and see all my friends from high school, I'm bummed that it'll be almost three months until I'm up here again. I mean lets not lie, this college town is kind of a joke to the students - and the other way around, but I'll miss it back in my little Dallas bubble. Sigh, I've learned a lot. I've got a lot to take home with me.

Here we have me messing around with my friend's roommate's chemistry goggles. I haven't taken Gen Chem yet, but I'm not looking forward to it.

Here we are outside a place called Crazy Buffet waiting for a shuttle bus to take us back to campus. We ended up getting stranded that day and having to call campus police. It was actually a great time.

This was my birthday. My good friend Alison decided to buy me a frap in the campus coffee shop. That was her birthday present to me. Very sweet of her. We're rooming together next year in the nice dorm.

Here we're trying to re-arrange furniture in the Society for Physics Students Room (I know) so that we could comfortable watch Heroes. I honestly don't get why my friends like that show, but they do.

In January I went abroad (as a Freshman) and took a black and white landscape photography class. It was a great experience. I met kids from other schools and had a blast. I made friends there that I'll keep for the rest of my life.

The year is drawing to a close, and I'm satisfied. Living large, friends, partying, making A's, kicking butt, loving life - End of Show!
